Job Description
Responsibilities
  • Stripe revenue journal entry recording in QuickBooks

  • Research scalable accounting practices

  • Tracking and reporting Stripe KPIs monthly

  • Booking AP invoices (expense coding and classifying) – view and lookup purchasing worksheet

  • Enter employee expense reimbursements for payroll.

  • Breakdown/tracking of employee benefit billing

  • Reconciliation (bank statement, credit card, GL accounts, vendor statements)

  • Recording/tracking of assets

  • Oversee project tracking (R&D labor, APUC, LIFT, etc…)

  • Calculating & reporting sales/use tax

  • Provide sales/marketing department financial reports

  • Wage reporting for Operation Intern

  • Support for insurance requests/reporting data

  • Perform advanced features in Excel such as filtering, formulas, and pivot tables.

  • Support department head on misc. projects

  • Review inventory cost allocations

Requirements

Work experience in a similar role is preferred. A degree i4n accounting is required. The hire would become part of a small and highly skilled team that is building products to improve the livestock industry, with the goal of helping ranchers do more with less. 701x is a highly innovative Ag-Tech company that is looking for an entry to mid-level Accountant to join our team. As an accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the daily operations and administrative functions of our organization. Although the main areas of work include accounting, you will work closely with various departments to ensure smooth workflow, effective communication, and efficient business processes. On-the-job training in any needed areas will be provided.

Qualifications
  • Associate degree in accounting with 2+ years’ experience, or bachelor’s degree.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with exceptional attention to detail.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced skills in Excel.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.

  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.

  • Experience with QuickBooks is preferred.

  • Experience with Stripe is a plus.
