701x is a Fargo, ND based Ag-Tech company focused on breeding and animal health. Two main things set us apart from other companies in the animal wearable space:First, we are the only Ag-Tech company producing an integrated, connected ecosystem of products that includes smart ear tags for adult animals and calves, a herd management app for on-ranch record keeping, and a registry service for 16 beef breeds. Second, we offer a self-directed, customizable approach to our suite of products, allowing our team to work alongside producers to put together a solution that best fits their needs. All of our products work seamlessly together or on their own. We’re excited to help get you started!

Our GPS smart ear tags work by measuring animal activity and biometric data. With algorithms formulated by our data science team, the tags collect data on each animal including their GPS location, activity, and breeding insights.

Our standard warranty policy is for one year. We view any problems with our products as an opportunity for us to learn and grow from. If you experience any issues with your products, we’re happy to assist. Call our office at 701-404-2133 to get started with our warranty process.

Currently our tags work and are available for purchase in the U.S., and Canada, with Australia being added by fall of 2026. As 701x continues to expand internationally, we are developing our tag’s capabilities to work globally. Check back often as we continue to expand our products to more countries.
