Our GPS smart ear tags work by measuring animal activity and biometric data. With algorithms formulated by our data science team, the tags collect data on each animal including their GPS location, activity, and breeding insights.

Currently our tags work and are available for purchase in the U.S., and Canada, with Australia being added by fall of 2026. Yes, our tags will work on any herd or operation size. Each tag works individually for each animal. Customers have the option to purchase as little as just one tag to start.

When we receive an order, we assign the product to customers before they are shipped. This allows us to make sure the product arrives to your doorstep, helps us coordinate the onboarding process with you, assist with any potential issues that arise, and expedite the warranty process as needed.

No, The 701x Autonomous Rancher app can be used as a standalone product. If you purchase a subscription to the app, you will have access to all of its excellent features including the Digital Calving Book, Working Cattle Mode, performance data, and much more! Yes, the app is needed when using our smart ear tags. However, the commercial software subscription is provided to you at no charge for up to 500 animals for the first year.

The ear tags send data to the app so you can view the data collected - including GPS location, health and activity data, estrus and calving information, bull mount counts, and more.

Yes! After purchasing our tags or software subscription, we go through a full onboarding process with you to ensure you are set up for success. We will schedule a time to show you step-by-step setup in the app as well as all of its features. We will also assist you with quickly importing your animals into the app so you don’t need to do it one-by-one.
