The 701x Autonomous Rancher platform is transforming how cattle producers manage their operations by combining powerful herd management software with GPS-enabled smart ear tags and real-time livestock monitoring. Instead of relying on handwritten notes or time-consuming pasture checks, ranchers can monitor animal location, health, breeding activity, calving events, treatments, financial records, and pasture performance from a smartphone, tablet, or computer—even when working

Our Director of Strategic Accounts, Scott Holt, joins Dustin Hector, the Director of Business Development for American Cattlemen Media to chat about our Bull Health Monitoring system and its benefits. They will then get into, 701X’s pro tag, a monitoring ear tag that combines health and location data delivered via cellular or satellite connectivity. Holt explains that once tags are applied and synced to the company’s software, producers can see where their cattle are, whether

Beef prices are good. Expansion should be happening. Unfortunately, many producers are simply maxed out on what they can get done in a day. The 701X platform is a fence checker, heat checker, health checker, calving notifier, and an office secretary all at the same time. Chip Kemp joined Patrick Wall on this episode of the Iowa Beef Collective to describe the breadth of services offered by an ear tag…and how we’re just getting started!

At the Animal AgTech Innovation Summit, our VP of Business Development, Max Cossette, joined Emma from Double E Ranch Advocacy to explore how our fully integrated ear tag system is giving producers never-before-seen access to herd health, location, and behavior - all from a phone or dashboard.

Six weeks of stress. And yet… That is how some would describe the last month and a half of the cattle markets. By now you know some of the basics of why. Like many, I have strong opinions on some of the happenings. Should you want to visit about those feel free to reach out. I’d be happy to get your take. I can even offer some insight into my own thinking if you wish. But stress doesn’t always denote a negative. You’ve been stressed and unnerved many times before a very posit

This week, I received an alert on 710 - one of our foundation cows. It was a heat alert which wasn’t what I wanted to see on an 8 year old cow who was preg checked months ago and on pasture 50 miles away. I then started unpacking the information and a light came on…701x just saved me a great deal of pain and agony of finding out I had an open cow early not late. What to do... Well, we had a handful of options, but I preach practicality to my children and anyone else who will

No one likes change. Until they do. Would you really prefer cold showers every day? How about waking up, stirring the fire, then putting the coffee on? Would you give up that modern, nimble, tough aluminum trailer for that old heavy fiberglass job from the late 80’s? I get it. I’m as averse to change as anyone. Those who know me well know I’m eager to park the modern dually or my bride’s fancy SUV in lieu of the old ’90s Jeep. The noise and the clutch take me back for a

Don’t disrespect the simple . 701x tools like the xTpro tag and the Autonomous Rancher herd management system get lots of accolades. And appropriately so. However, I think too many of us overlook the elegantly simple and powerful xTlite tag. It is an inexpensive, easy to install, robust Bluetooth device that allows you and the kids to hop on the UTV and drive in the pasture and locate any animal wearing an xTlite that is within Bluetooth range. It’ll help you track down t
