NEW WORLD SCREWWORM IS HERE

New world screwworm is emphasizing the already present labor challenges ranchers are facing when it comes to monitoring their herd.

Calving events pose high risk for infection due to the presence of afterbirth and the calf's fresh navel. The xtpro identifies when a cow may be calving and sends alerts, allowing you to know when and where they are so you can be there to mitigate risk and take preventative measures.

The xtpro identifies cattle showing signs of lethargy— a common new world screwworm symptom— through decreased activity and sends a health alert. This enables timely evaluation of animals that may be at risk.

the xtpro tag's gps location feature helps producers locate cattle, track livestock movement, and identify self-isolating animals— another symptom of new world screwworm— as well as respond to calving and health alerts for timely inspection and risk monitoring.
